The Microfiber filter PROFESSIONAL keeps water clean from impurities such as rust, dirt, particles, lime, etc., which can occur due to stresses in the water pipes and depending on water quality.
The white color of the microfiber filter typically changes, depending on the cleanliness of the pipes and water hardness, to a light to dark brown color (usually occurring after 2-3 months).
Every country and region has different conditions, so the mentioned timeframe is a general rule of thumb.
We recommend replacing the microfiber filter regularly, ideally every time you replace the Aroma Gel Filter.
If the fleece is still white, sometimes washing it under the tap and reinserting it (rough fiber side up) may be sufficient. However, if it has become hardened due to lime residues, it should be replaced.
